About Sheridan Irrigation

Mark Sheridan, owner of Sheridan Irrigation Inc., has been in the landscape industry for over 35 years, bringing to the table knowledge of all aspects of landscaping. In 1998, he began specializing in irrigation systems for residential and commercial clients. In the spring of 2000 he established his own business based in Kingston.

Since then, Sheridan Irrigation has become the South Shore's premier provider of irrigation and landscape lighting, or "nightscaping". All of these services utilize GREEN technology.

Sheridan Irrigation Inc. did work on the infrastructure at Gillette Stadium, home of the New England Patriots. They have worked on highly restricted U.S. military bases and, most recently, up at UMass Boston. Mark and his crew have built an excellent reputation for the high quality of work they perform. Whether the client or job is large or small, the team gives their full effort to the project at hand and listens to each client's unique needs. As a result, Sheridan Irrigation has developed very strong relationships with both residential and commercial clients.

Q. Do you carry insurance, and is that important?
A. Yes, we have a very comprehensive insurance policy. We have the following insurance protection:

• Equipment
• Worker’s compensation
• General liability

Unfortunately, there are some companies out there that do not carry insurance, and the risk is transferred to you as the property owner. YOU are responsible should any problem arise or if an employee is hurt. We highly recommend you validate that any company with which you do business carries a comprehensive insurance policy.

Q. How long have you been in business?
A. We have been in business as a DBA since 2000. We incorporated in May of 2008.
